As part of my PhD in Clinical Neuroscience at the Institute of Psychiatry, I investigated different aspects of white matter anatomy underlying perisylvian language network using diffusion tensor imaging approach.
My three major areas of research include exploring age-related changes and gender differences in the anatomy of language in healthy population (maturation project), anatomy of language pathways in autism (AIMS project), and lastly mapping the heritability patterns on the perisylvian language network (twin study.
